Online poker players located in New Jersey, Nevada, and Delaware can access two separate events via WSOP/888 over the next few days. The platform is preparing to offer up a ton of action, including the Winter Online Championships and the Planet Hollywood Circuit Online Circuit Event via the WSOP Circuit 2021.

Winter Online Championship Series

The WSOP is hosting the Winter Online Championship Series with a total of 47 tournaments on the schedule. The series kicks off this weekend. Players can compete in events with buy-ins starting at just $11. The highest buy-in is $1,000. The schedule will include pot limit Omaha and No Limit Texas Hold’em variants.

Each of the series, there will be three tournaments. Formats will vary, with options for turbos, monster stacks, deepstacks, re-buys, and knockouts. Prize pool guarantees will start at $10,000 and then go as high as $200,000.

The festival will conclude with the Main Event which has a buy-in of $320 and a $200,000 prize pool. The winner of the Main Event will earn the prize money and title along with the Champion’s Belt. This year’s series is basically a replica of the 2020 edition, with the same number of events and prize pool guarantees.

WSOP Circuit Action

This year, due to the continued issue of COVID-19, the WSOP Circuit will take place online. The schedule has already been laid out and is filled with a lot of options. On February 17, players can start taking part in the Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Event. This is the second festival to take place for the online circuit in 2021.

For this festival, the WSOP will offer up events with buy-ins starting at $215 and going as high as $1,000. On each day of the festival, one tournament will take place. Each event offers a gold WSOP ring. All but one of the ring events will be in NLH format. The other will be a pot limit Omaha event.

There are several events on the Planet Hollywood schedule that will draw player interest. First, we have the Double Stack NLH, which has a buy-in of $320 and a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. This event takes place on February 20.

On February 23, players can take part in a High Roller event. This tournament has a buy-in of $1,000 and features a $100,000 prize pool. The Main Event of the series has a buy-in of $525 and includes a $250,000 prize pool.

On top of the regular competition, players can take part in the Player of the Month Leaderboard. This competition has a $10,000 total prize pool and offers up prizes for the top players in the series. The Circuit stop also offers a $25,000 Freeroll and a Grinder’s Second Chance Freeroll.

As if that was not enough, players can compete for a seat in the Year-End Championship. This event has a $250,000 and provides with winner with not only prize money but also an official WSOP gold bracelet. The WSOP is surely setting up 2021 to be a great year for online poker!
