WPN Releases Dates for $15 Million OSS Cub3d Series

Although no schedule or supporting promotions have yet been announced, the Winning Poker has released the dates for its next OSS Cub3d series, which will run in one 29-day session from Sunday 25th February until Sunday 25th March.

OSS Cub3d is the Winning Poker Network´s flagship tournament series. Launched just eighteen months ago with a guarantee of $4.5 million, the series has grown quickly to become a must-play event for players at Americas Cardroom (review) and Black Chip Poker (review).

The next OSS Cub3d series will be the fifth time the Network has combined the Mini Online Super Series (MOSS), the Online Super Series (OSS) and the Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS), and this time the guaranteed prize money will exceed $15 million.

Back-to-Back-to-Back Action from 25th February

Similar to OSS Cub3d IV, there will be go gap between the three series. Instead MOSS, OSS, and BOSS will be played back-to-back-to-back over 29 days from Sunday 25th February, during which time five Million Dollar Sunday events are already scheduled. The dates for your diaries are:

• February 25th to March 4th – the Mini Online Super Series is comprised of mini buy-in events that typically start with buy-ins of pennies but which offer substantial guarantees.
• March 5th to March 18th – the Online Super Series first appeared in 2012 and features the bulk of the tournament action across a wide variety of formats and disciplines.
• March 19th to March 25th – the Bigger Online Super Series is geared towards the Network´s high rollers and is supported by a comprehensive satellite schedule.

Historically, each series has its own Main Event. Whether or not this will be the case this time around we shall have to wait and see. The likelihood is that the five Million Dollar Sunday events planned for the end of February and all throughout March will form part of the OSS Cub3d schedule.

What Else Can Players Expect During OSS Cub3d?

One of the features that makes the OSS Cub3d series so popular is its satellite schedule. In the run up to the feature events, hundreds of seats are given away in Freebuy satellites and sub-satellites that feed into mega-satellites – making it possible for players to go from “zero to hero”.

There are usually leaderboard competitions running for each leg of the series; plus, if each leg is designated a Main Event – the winner of each Main Event is usually awarded a sterling silver bracelet. Watch out too for reload bonuses and other random promotions to win seats and earn cash.
