The Venetian Casino is well into its DeepStack Extravaganza in Las Vegas with a few days still left to compete on the schedule.
From March 29 to April 25, the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas is playing host to its DeepStack Extravaganza. Poker players have been visiting the casino for the past few weeks, taking part in several big events. Over $1.7 million in total prize money is guaranteed and players from around the world are taking part in the hopes of earning a piece of the pie.
The Deepstack Extravaganza kicked off with a $400 NLH MonsterStack Event with $100,000 up for grabs along with a $200 NLH Bounty $6K event. Players have continually registered for big events on the schedule from the end of March, including Survivor events, UltimateStacks, Bounty’s, and more.
There is plenty to discover on the schedule and this week, the series continues to offer quality tournament gaming. Today, the series features Day 1 of the $200 NLH Survivor event, with 10% of the field earning $1,600 each. There is also Day 1A of the $400 NLH Monster Stack $100K.
Throughout the week, the Survivor and Monster Stack events will play out along with additional events. On Wednesday, players can take part in the $400 NLH Monster Stack $200,000 event. There are also more Survivor events on the schedule.
The final event will take place on Sunday April 25, at 1:10 PM. The tournament is a Monster Stack Freeze Out with only one entry per person. The buy-in is $400 and features a $20,000 prize pool guaranteed.
Once the DeepStack Extravaganza is over, the poker room at the Venetian will continue to offer amazing tournament action. There are plenty of events set for the casino including World Poker Tour options. Starting on July 2, the Venetian will host the World Poker Tour and offer up a $3 million prize pool.
On July 11, the World Poker Tour is back again, with a WPT DeepStacks event. This tournament has a buy-in of $2,400 and provides $2 million in guaranteed prize money. Along with the WPT, the Venetian will play host to the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour.
The Tour will take place a little earlier than the WPT, in June. There will be a $1,600 event that features a large $2 million prize pool. Before that, the casino will host the DeepStack Championship Series in early May. This will include a No Limit Hold’em Survivor tournament with a $500 buy-in. This tournament includes a $20,000 prize pool.
There is plenty to discover at the Venetian this summer, if you find yourself in Las Vegas. Check out the casino’s poker room page to view all the details of upcoming events. With the pandemic starting to hopefully dwindle away, we should see even more lie poker action taking place at the casino as well as other venues in Las Vegas and across the United States.
At the Venetian, there are still pandemic protocols in place based on state rules and regulations. Players are required to wear a mask when playing and refrain from smoking or vaping at the table.
