The sixth leg of the 2012/13 PokerStars sponsored United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour kicks of this afternoon at the Gala Casino in Bristol with the finale of the UKIPT Online Main Event – the first two days of which were played (online!) on 14-15 October.
The two chip leaders – Rafael “zugzwang16” Haber and Wojtek “piper_kl88” Barzantny – have more than half the chips in play between them, but are chased up in third by Chris “Moorman1” Moorman and the highly experienced Joep ‘Pappe_Ruk’ van den Bijgaart in fourth.
The eight remaining players are competing for more than £250,000 from the £410,900 prize pool which was created when 587 players either qualified online for the UKIPT Online Main Event or ponied up the £735.00 buy-in. Today´s winner will walk away with £77,126.03.

Although the final table of the UKIPT Online Main Event is the highlight of Day 1 of the six-day pokerfest in Bristol, there are several other notable events taking place during the week. Tomorrow (Thursday) sees the first of two Day 1s for the UKIPT Bristol £770.00 buy-in Main Event, while on Friday a £100.00 + £50.00 + £10.00 Turbo Bounty Event is scheduled.
On Saturday the first day (of 2) of the popular £2,150.00 Hi-Roller event starts at 6.00pm and on Sunday afternoon there is a £110.00 Ladies tournament at 3.00pm. The UKIPT Bristol Main Event plays throughout the weekend and concludes with the final table on Monday November 12th.
