Online poker players in New Jersey have access to plenty of gaming options, from cash games to tournaments, and special events. Starting next week, players can take part in the next Online Series via the partypoker US Network. BetMGM Poker NJ, Borgata Poker, and partypoker NJ will provide access to 11 events with a total of $360,000 in total prize money up for grabs.

Details of the Series

Players who take part in the Online Series will see the action kick off at 5 pm EDT on March 21. The week-long series will include events with buy-ins ranging from $20 to $1,060. Guaranteed prize pools will start at $10,000 and go as high as $125,000.

The tournaments will feature varying formats including PLO, No-Limit Hold’em, and Progressive Knockouts. There is also a Heads-Up event on the schedule. The top event on the schedule is the Main Event, which will take place in the 8-Max format. This event features the largest prize pool of $125,000.

The Main Event has a $1,060 buy-in and will be the final tournament of the series. The game format is no limit hold’em. For the next largest prize pool, players will need to be ready to compete in the first event on the schedule.

Affordable Online Series Options

If you are looking for more affordable action, there are a few events on the schedule. The lowest buy-in can be found within the $10,000 GTD 8-Max Mini Championship NLH. This event has the smallest buy-in of the series at $20. The tournament takes place on March 28.

For a $109 buy-in, there are two events on the schedule. First is the $10,000 6-Max PLO tournament. This event takes place on March 24 at 8 pm. The second event is the Sunday $35,000 GTD ½ Price NLH tournament. This event is one of the last to take place, set for March 28 at 5 pm.

Quality Poker Action

The partypoker US Network has been quite busy over the past year offering up Online Series as well as additional online poker gaming options. Traffic picked up quite a bit on the network since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The last time the Online Series took place via partypoker, it was in January. The series was a complete success and the brand listened to player feedback after. The operator soon decided to increase the buy-in of the Main Event from $250 to the higher $1,060 price point. Players wanted to have a higher buy-in for the big event and they got what they asked for.

There are also new events on this schedule. Event #5 is an option that players have not seen before, taking place on March 24. This is the heads-up event, and it runs at the same time as Event #4. With new options on the schedule and a higher Main Event buy-in, it will be interesting to see what think and how many turn out to compete. We look forward to seeing the details of the series once it has finished up.
