A slimline version of Party Poker´s PokerFest Micro Turbo Edition starts next Friday, with 42 events over 10 days and a total guaranteed prize pool of $115,000.
The second Party Poker PokerFest Micro Turbo Edition might be a shadow of the inaugural series (which had 50% more events and twice as much guaranteed prize money), but it still represents a great tournament series for players with a limited bankroll.
The 42 events come in a selection of disciplines, with buys-ins for all but two of the tournaments ranging between $1.00 and $5.00. All the tournaments are played with a turbo or hyper-turbo clock, so there is sure to be plenty of fast-paced action at the tables.
High Roller and Main Event are Feature Attractions
The two events with buy-ins above $5.00 are the High Roller and Main Event. The High Roller takes place on Sunday 25th May (16:45pm ET) and offers a $15,000 guarantee for the $50.00 buy-in. A few hours before the tournament gets underway, Party Poker will be hosting a mega-satellite ($5.00 buy-in) with 50 seats guaranteed for the High Roller, so it looks as though this will be the highlight event of the first weekend.
The cards will be in the air for the $25,000 guaranteed PokerFest Micro Turbo Edition Main Event at 14:00pm (ET) on Sunday 1st June. This tournament has a buy-in of just $20.00, and players looking for additional value in the PokerFest Micro Turbo series should note that a $5.00 buy-in mega-satellite will be hosted three hours earlier which guarantees an incredible 200 seats into the Main Event.

$10.00 Free Poker Money for Completing PokerFest Mission
Party Poker is also challenging players to complete a PokerFest Mission during the ten days that the Micro Turbo Series is running. From Friday 23rd May until Sunday 1st June any player completing the following objectives will be rewarded with $10.00 free poker money in the form of tournament dollars. The objectives are:
- Play 5 PokerFest Micro Turbo Edition events (including qualifiers)
- Play 2 multi-table tournaments or Sit n Go tourneys per day on 5 days
- Knock 50 opponents out of multi-table tournaments or Sit n Go tourneys
- Earn 50 points on Party Poker´s cash game tables (points are awarded at a rate of 2 per $1.00 raked)
Please note that heads-up tournaments, heads-up cash games and all Freerolls are excluded from this promotion.
Bigger Prizes Available in the WPT500 Steps Promotion
Players with limited bankrolls looking for bigger prizes may also be interested in the WPT500 Steps promotion which is currently taking place at Party Poker.
