Party Poker is running a $42,000 FastForward cash race next week, with daily cash prizes of $6,000 up for grabs for fans of the fast-fold format.
If you enjoy playing fast-fold poker and fancy a challenge next week, Party Poker is running a FastForward rake race from Monday with $6,000 up for grabs every day split over two leaderboard competitions. Both NLHE and PLO players can take part in the promotion and, if you only play for micro-stakes, you still have a chance of winning a valuable cash prize.
The concept of the promotion is very easy to understand. For each $1.00 you generate in rake playing FastForward poker, you will be awarded one Rake Race Point towards your position on the leaderboard. The twenty-five players in the micro-stakes leaderboard competition, and the top fifty players in the mid-stakes leaderboard competition, will each win a cash prize at the end of the day depending on their finishing positions.
More about the FastForward Rake Race
The promotion is divided into two leaderboard competitions – one for stakes of $0.02/$0.05 and $0.05/$0.10 (micro-stakes), and the other for stakes of $0.10/$0.25 and $0.25/$0.50 (mid-stakes). It does not matter which FastForward game you play (NLHE or PLO), the Rake Race Points you earn will be allocated to whichever leaderboard is appropriate for the stakes you are playing at.
There is $1,000 in prize money each day for the top twenty-five players in the micro-stakes leaderboard competition. First place is worth $250, with the second-placed player receiving $200 and third-place player, $150. Thereafter the top prizes tier down to $10 for the tenth-place player. Players occupying places 11-15 on the micro-stakes leaderboard will collect $5.00 each.
Naturally the prize money in the mid-stakes leaderboard competition is worth much more. There is a total of $5,000 in cash prizes to be won each day, with the winner picking up a very healthy $1,000, the tenth-placed player collecting $50.00, places 11-30 each receiving $40.00, and players in the final twenty places each finding an extra $30.00 in their accounts within 48 hours.
Each day runs from midnight to 11:59pm (CET) and the other important information you need to know is that you are allowed to cash in both Rake Race competitions on the same day, and you can check you position throughout the day on the Party Poker website. Other than that, get ready to pull up a chair and play FastForward Poker before the end of the promotion on Sunday 17th December.
FastForward Points also Qualify for Cashback
Don´t forget, all the time you are playing FastForward Poker at Party Poker, you also earn points towards the site´s cashback promotion. Similar to Rake Race Points, you will be awarded one “Point” for each $1.00 you contribute to the rake (the site couldn´t think of an appropriate name for the points, so just called each one a “Point”).
Provided you have collected a minimum of 25 “Points” by the end of the week (a week runs from Monday to Sunday), you will receive cashback of between 20% and 40% depending on the total number of points you have earned. You have to opt in manually to take part in this promotion by accessing the Rewards section of the Party Poker client.
No More Happy Hours, but Plenty Else Going On
This coming Saturday (December 9th) sees the end of Party Poker´s “Happy Hours” promotion in which players earn double “Points” towards their cashback between certain hours of the day. But there is plenty else going on at the site in addition to the FastForward Rake Race – including multiple Sit & Go promotions and cash game missions.
