Party Poker has launched a leaderboard competition giving away ten packages each week to its $1 million guaranteed tournament in Punta Cana in November.
The Party Poker Million is one of two $1 million guaranteed tournaments that will be played at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana during the Caribbean Poker Party from 19th to 26th November – the other being the WPT Caribbean Main Event.
Players looking to compete in either event can take advantage of Party Poker´s comprehensive satellite schedule, with qualifiers starting at “Centroll” level ($0.01). Only Top Power Series Players Welcome
The $1 Million Summer Giveaway leaderboard promotion is open to every player who competes in a Power Series tournament with a buy-in of $109.00 or more. Points will be awarded based on the buy-in, the number of players taking part in the tournament and finishing positions.
Each week´s leaderboard competition runs from 4:00am (EST) on Monday morning through to 3:59am (EST) the following Monday, when the players filling the top ten positions on the leaderboard will win a $6,000 package to the Party Poker Million. The prize includes:
- A $2,750 buy-in for the Party Poker Million.
- All-inclusive accommodation at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
- $1,000 towards travelling expenses credited to your account.
There is no need to opt into the promotion – leaderboard points will be awarded automatically at the conclusion of each qualifying Poker Series event. Players can win more than one package and have the option of selling their second (or third, or fourth) package, or taking along some friends.
A True Million Dollar Party Experience
The Caribbean Poker Party will be well worth attending. In addition to the two big poker tournaments, the event will be celebrating Dusk till Dawn´s ten-year anniversary, and a stack of off-the-felt activities has already been scheduled to give players a true million dollar party experience.
With each day´s poker action not starting until 5:00pm, players will have the opportunity to participate in water polo, beach volleyball and golf during the day. Qualify for the Power Series from Just $0.01
Not everybody has the bankroll to compete in tournaments with a $109.00 buy-in, so Party Poker has extended its existing steps program to give more players the opportunity to participate in the $1 Million Summer Giveaway leaderboard promotion. Steps start at just $0.01 (look for the “Centroll” tournaments in the “Qualifiers” lobby, and players can buy into any of the later stages at $5.50 or $22.00.
Some qualifiers not to be missed are the $22.00 buy-in mega-satellites guaranteeing twenty-five $109 tickets in each. There are three of these mega-satellites tonight on Party Poker (Tuesday 24th May) starting at 6:00pm, 8:00pm and 10:00pm (Central European Time). The mega-satellites do not count towards your position on the Summer Giveaway leaderboard, but if you cash in one of the seven Heavyweight Power Series tournaments, you could quickly be heading towards Punta Cana in November.
