Now Party Poker is addressing the situation with a second “Sub-55” Caribbean Poker Party leaderboard promotion for players with more modest bankrolls who compete in the site´s Power Series tournaments that have buy-ins of between $5.50 and $55.00.
The “Sub-55” Caribbean Poker Party Leaderboard Promotion
Starting today, players competing in any Power Series tournament with a buy-in of between $5.50 and $55.00 will be awarded points on their own “Sub-55” leaderboard. The points will be awarded according to the value of the buy-in, the number of entries in the tournament and the player´s finishing position.
Points awarded in each tournament will add up over the course of the week until next Monday (and thereafter every following Monday until the end of October) when the top fifty players will be awarded a tournament ticket to a satellite in the “Caribbean Poker Party Satellite Tree”.
Tickets range in value from $5.50 to $1,050 – the top prize qualifying for a direct entry into the Caribbean Poker Party Final Phase tournaments that take place every Monday at 8:00pm (BST), and that guarantee a minimum of five $8,000 packages to the Caribbean Poker Party in Punta Cana in November.
A Prize Well Worth Winning
If you are one of the players who wins a ticket to a Caribbean Poker Party satellite, and then wins a package to the Caribbean Poker Party, you will be in for a real treat.
