Party Poker is launching a three-tier Power Series leaderboard competition, with Caribbean Poker Party packages and satellite tickets up for grabs every day.
Party Poker´s Caribbean Poker Party takes place at the glorious Melia Caribe Tropical Hotel in Punta Cana from November 18th to November 15th. The highlight of the Poker Party will be a $5,300 Main Event with a $5 million guaranteed prize pool, and – alongside plenty of recreational activities – a packed side event schedule includes a further $1 million guaranteed event.
A comprehensive satellite schedule for the Caribbean Poker Party starting at “Centroll” level was launched a couple of weeks ago, and now the site is running a new promotion giving away $370,000 of satellite seats and at least one $10,000 package to the Caribbean Poker Party every day. To qualify for this opportunity, all you have to do is play in Party Poker´s regular Power Series tournaments.
Party Poker´s Power Series tournaments are a series of guaranteed events that pay out more than $3 million each week. They are divided into four categories according to the buy-in of the guaranteed tournaments:
Until August 13th, every time you play in a Power Series tournament, you will be awarded points depending on your finishing position, the number of players in the tournament and the buy-in. The points will accumulate on one of three leaderboards (Featherweight, Middleweight and a combined Heavyweight/High Rollers leaderboard), with the top ten players in each category winning the following prizes every day (extra prizes are awarded in the Heavyweight/High Rollers category on Sundays):
Featherweight | Middleweight | Heavyweight | Sunday (HW/HRs only) | |

There are a few terms and conditions associated with this promotion. The first is that leaderboard points are not awarded for tournaments with non-cash prizes (i.e. satellites into Power Series events) and phased tournaments. The “day” runs from 10:00am CEST (8:00am GMT) to 9:59am CEST (7:59am GMT) the following day. If you win a satellite ticket in the Caribbean Poker Party leaderboard competition, you have thirty days in which to use it. Please note satellite tickets cannot be exchanged for tournament dollars and can only be used to play in Caribbean Poker Party (“CPP”) events.
Party Poker has a very good satellite schedule for the Caribbean Poker Party but, if you are not familiar with its structure, it can be a little confusing. The satellite path starts at Centroll level ($0.01 buy-in) and the top five players in each Centroll move onto the Micro-Feeder level (which you can also buy-into directly for $1.10). Thereafter, you can win seats into Mini-Feeders ($5.50 direct buy-in), Feeders ($22.00 direct buy-in) and the CPP Semi-Final (109.00 direct buy-in).
In CPP Semi-Finals, you start with 30,000 chips. The Semi-Final lasts eighteen levels and, if you are still alive at the end of the eighteenth level, you carry your chip stack forward into the weekly Final. The weekly Final can also be bought into directly for $1,050. If you take this option, you will start the Final with a chip stack of 300,000 chips. The starting chip stack represents the average amount of chips that players will be carrying forward from the Semi-Finals, and blinds start at 1,500/3,000 (ante).
The top five players in each of the weekly Finals will win a $10,000 package to the Caribbean Poker Party. The package consists of the $5,300 Main Event buy-in, seven nights all-inclusive accommodation at the Melia Caribe Tropical Hotel in Punta Cana, a stack of daytime and night time activities to get involved with and $2,000 towards flights. It is a fantastic prize, and you could start your journey to the Caribbean just by playing your regular tournaments at Party Poker.
If you fancy a luxury, poker-playing November break in the Caribbean, why not visit Party Poker today?
