Caribbean Poker Party PackagesFrom next week, Party Poker is doubling the number of packages it is guaranteeing to the Caribbean Poker Party in its weekly phased tournament qualifier.

Two weeks ago, we announced that Party Poker was [geolink href=”https://www.pokernewsreport.com/guarantee-for-party-poker-million-doubled-to-2-million-20871″]doubling the guarantee[/geolink] for the Party Poker Million live event in Punta Cana in November. Now the site is doubling the number of packages guaranteed in each of its weekly phased tournament qualifiers.

From next Monday (September 5th), Party Poker will be guaranteeing a minimum of ten $8,000 packages to the Caribbean Poker Party. The package includes the $2,750 buy-in to the $2 million guarantee Party Poker Million, flights to Punta Cana and all-inclusive accommodation at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for two people (November 19th – 26th).

How the Weekly Phased Tournament Qualifiers Work

The phased tournament qualifiers are two-legged events. There are twenty-five “Phase 1” tournaments played throughout the week – a minimum of three each night, four on Sundays, and six on Mondays. Each “Phase 1” tournament has a buy-in of $109.00, for which players receive a starting stack of 30,000 chips.

“Phase 1” of the qualifier is played for fourteen levels, and players with chips left in front of them carry forward their stack to the “Final Phase” tournament on Mondays at 7:00pm GMT. However, the “Final Phase” tournament can also be bought into directly for $1,050 – in return for which players receive 300,000 chips.

The size of the “Final Phase” chip stack is an important factor for players who have scraped through a “Phase 1” tournament with a relatively small chip stack. Players have the option of competing in as many “Phase 1” events as they wish and carrying forward their largest chip stack after fourteen levels. Unfortunately, there is option to accumulate chips, and all the other chip stacks are forfeited.

As usual, Party Poker has a comprehensive sub-satellite schedule starting at “Centroll” ($0.01) level. The most popular of these is the $22.00 buy-in “Phase 1” feeder sub-satellite that takes place one hour before each “Phase1” event gets underway and guarantees one seat in the “Phase 1” event for each $109.00 in the prize pool. Plenty of other sub-satellites can be found in the [geolink href=”https://www.pokernewsreport.com/partypoker”]Party Poker[/geolink] lobby.

Win Seats and Packages in the Party Poker Million Hero

For players who do not want to go through a long qualifying process, Party Poker has introduced an alternate route to the Caribbean Poker Party and its phased tournament qualifiers – the Party Poker Million Hero.

The Party Poker Million Hero is a trimmed down version of the site´s Sit & Go Hero – a four-handed, super-turbo Sit & Go game in which a random prize is drawn before the start of each game and bounties are awarded for knocking out players. In the trimmed down version, there are only three players in each game and the bounties have been removed.

Each three-handed Party Poker Million Hero game has a buy-in of $25.00 and, before the start of the game, a random prize is drawn as usual. However, rather than playing for a random cash prize, the winner of each game will win a tournament entry ticket to a Caribbean Poker Party qualifier or a package to the live event itself. There are four possible prizes that can be drawn:

  • A $55.00 satellite entry ticket.
  • A $109.00 “Phase 1” entry ticket.
  • A $1,050 “Final Phase” entry ticket.
  • An $8,000 package to the Caribbean Poker Party.

If the top prize is drawn, players who finish in second and third place will each win a $109.00 “Phase 1” entry ticket.
