New US Ladies Poker Championship Circuit Tour AnnouncedA new poker tour has been added to the United States calendar of events with news that the Ladies International Poker Series Tour (LIPS) will run the US Ladies Poker Championship Circuit Tour (USLPCC).

LIPS, now in their eighth season, will host 12 events on the tour, with the first of the two-day tournaments kicking off at the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma, on Saturday, December 4.

All announced events possess $300+$40 buy-ins to the main event and also provide $10 optional bonus chips, if required, while there will also be live internet coverage of the final table at each tournament.

The tour will then move on to Atlantic City’s Golden Nugget Casino, before stopping off at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, the Orange Park Kennel Club in Jacksonville, Florida, the Venetian Casino in Las Vegas, and the Thunder Valley Casino & Resort in Lincoln, California.

Additionally, there will be an event in the Golden Nugget Casino in Vegas, although no details are available yet, while five more events will be added to the schedule at a later date.

LIPS chief executive officer and founder Lupe Soto said:

The US Ladies Poker Championship, now in its third year, has been so successful that we decided to take the event on the road to give women an opportunity to compete for another prestigious title.

Along with our casino partners, we’re proud to bring women’s poker to the viewing audience via live internet streaming.

With each two-day main event costing entrants $350, there will also be $150+$25 ($10 optional bonus chips) mega satellites on Day 2 of each stop on the tour that will see one in 10 players picking up packages to the $550 buy-in US Ladies Poker Championship Seat in Las Vegas on September 1 next year.

The package, valued at $1,500, will also include a $100 premium seating ticket for the Women in Poker Hall of Fame ceremony and $850 for travel.

Vietnamese poker star Karina Jett – who collected $119,010 for finishing second in the $1,000 buy-in Ladies Championship at this summer’s World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Sin City – is eager for the tour to begin. The 37-year-old, who plays regularly online at PokerStars, said: I look forward to playing in these events. The level and skill of the women who play at this level is equal to any event I have played in open events.

The USLPCC is to be sponsored by Lynvia Designs Jewelry, Grrrinders.com and OnTilt fine poker wear.
