PokerNewsReport is offering readers the chance to qualify for the PokerStars´ $1 Million guaranteed MicroMillions Main Event in our own exclusive tournament.
At the end of last week, we gave notice that the PokerStars´ MicroMillions 8 Series is about to begin, and judging by the volume of players who registered for the early tournaments, a number of readers booked their seats early.
However, readers intending to play in the $1 million guaranteed MicroMillions Main Event (on Sunday 27th July) should keep their virtual cash in their pockets for the minute, as PokerNewsReport will be hosting our very own exclusive Main Event Qualifier on Saturday 26th July, which will have a minimum of 20 seats guaranteed for the MicroMillions Main Event (each worth $22.00).
The PokerNewsReport MicroMillions Main Event qualifier costs just $2.20 to enter and you will be able to find it from the middle of next week using the tournament reference #937778448 (as you can imagine there are a lot of tournaments and qualifiers in the PokerStars lobby ahead of ours at the minute).
Readers will be able to enter the event with a unique password which we will be publishing next week and (unless we change our minds between now and Saturday 26th July) our qualifier will have a “standard” freezeout format (no re-buys, re-entries or add-ons) with 15 minute levels and a starting stack of 4,000 chips.
Our winners will have their MicroMillions Main Event tickets automatically credited to their accounts (you will find them under the “Requests” > “Tournament Tickets” in the PokerStars client), but you will have to register manually for the Main Event.
With MicroMillions 8 already under way (the series kicked off yesterday if you have been living on a different planet), it is important that players who have not already done so opt-in to the MicroMillions Challenge as soon as possible.
The MicroMillions Challenge is a free-to-enter promotion which rewards players who compete in the MicroMillions events with a ticket to an “all-in every hand” shootout tournament. The value of the shootout tournament you are entered in depends on the number of MicroMillions tournaments you play in, so:
Both shootout tournaments will take place on Saturday 2nd August, but as you will be all-in every hand (whether you want to or not) there is no need to be physically sat in front of a computer at the time the shootout is in place – your winnings will be credited automatically.
