From December 10 through to January 3, Bally’s will host the “Main Event Mania” series. It is the only game happening in Las Vegas this December in Bally’s which is one of WSOP’s satellite locations.
Three days of $580, $1,100, and $2,175 Mega Satellites will commence the series. This will lead to the 2020 WSOP Main Event on WSOP. The main event proper will host 32 different events officially, each of which will have their winners and coveted trophies. There will be other variants of card games in the series including HORSE, Triple Stud, Omaha Hi/Lo, and of course, a full slate of no-limit hold’em tournaments.
There will be a reward for the “Player of the Series”. The same point system used in each WSOP Circuit stop is what will be utilized for this festival. Players will be given points as they play towards the “Player of the Series” leaderboard. At the end of the series, the winner will be rewarded with a $10,000 seat into the 2021 WSOP Main event, not forgetting bragging rights as the “Player of the Series”.
This will be a live event and as such, safety protocols have been put in place to ensure the safety of players and staff alike. Caesar’s new health protocols are what will be implemented by Bally’s Las Vegas. The ‘upgrade’ to the safety protocol will enhance its existing plans and practices. The well being of every individual that is in the arena of any Caesars property, and the community at large, is of utmost priority to the resort. Caesar, therefore promises to create an environment with high standards of handwashing, sanitization, and social distancing practices, in line with the covid-19 safety measures.
