These well known online pros will join the likes of Jose ‘Girahh’ Macedo, Brett Jungblut and Eric Lynch as members of the exclusive LockPRO ELITE team as Lock Poker continues in their mission to augment and improve what is considered among the leading rosters of young Internet talent around.
Essex-based Chris Moorman enjoyed a fabulous World Series of Poker (WSOP) this summer when cashing for $1,051,466, including $716,282 for a second place in the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold’em event as well as $271,800 for a third place finish in the $2,500 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold’em tournament.
However, even with such a wonderful series in Las Vegas that sees him currently sit in fourth place in the WSOP Player of the year standings, that $1 million-plus in prize money doesn’t even come close to the $7.5 million he’s collected through online play.
Nicky Evans, meanwhile, has picked up more than $1.1 million since turning professional two years ago, and made 59th place his own on poker player ranking website PocketFives’ Internet pros rankings list.
Lock Poker chief executive officer Jennifer Larson is “very excited” by the website’s latest signings and said that “Chris and Nicky are stars”, before welcoming the duo “to the Lock family”.
Larson added that, “together, we will work very hard to provide the best product, support and overall online poker experience” for their new signings as well as their regular customers.
