GG Poker´s ambitious Good Game Series 3 gets underway next Sunday, and to complement the series, the site is giving away $100,000 in tournament entry tickets.
A couple of weeks ago, GG Poker announced a massive $50 million tournament series to rival PokerStars´ WCOOP Series, Party Poker´s KO Series, and 888Poker´s XL Eclipse Series – all of which are scheduled to take place over the next couple of weeks. The Good Game 3 series starts on Sunday and consists of 473 events – culminating with a million dollar guaranteed Main Event on September 29th.
Prior to the series starting – and up until the penultimate day of the series – GG Poker is giving away $4,000 in tournament entries every day via an early morning “All-In Shootout”. In order to enter the Shootout, players must complete a daily mission the day before in which they have to collect 10,000 points by playing the site´s NL Hold´em or Rush and Cash games. Details of how to do that follow.
In order to qualify for the Good Game Series Giveaway the only thing you need to do is play the NL Hold´em or Rush and Cash games you normally would. As you play, points are awarded per hand – we assume per raked hand – according to the type of game and stake level you are playing at. As soon as you have collected 10,000 points, you are automatically entered into the following day´s Shootout.

If you win an entry into a Shootout tournament, you don´t need to get up at 8:00am (GMT) to play in it. As you are all-in every hand, there are no decisions to make – so the Shootout continues automatically until the prize winners are determined. Players who win tournament entries will be registered into the target event, or awarded their prize in tournament dollars if they have already entered the target event.
GG Poker is also giving away $300,000 in tournament dollars in a leaderboard competition running throughout the Good Game Series 3. To give players of all bankroll levels a chance to cash in the promotion, the leaderboard is divided into three sections; with one competition running for low stakes buy-ins ($5 – $99), one for mid stakes buy-ins ($100 – $1,000), and one for high stakes buy-ins ($1,000+).
Points are awarded to all players who enter any Good Game Series tournament. Players who don´t cash will be awarded points equivalent to the amount of the buy-in (i.e. if you don´t cash in a $5 buy-in event, you will be awarded five points. Points for cashing players are awarded according to the number of entries divided by the player´s finishing position, multiplied by the stake. Therefore if you were to finish in fifth place in a $20 buy-in tournament with 400 entries, you would receive 1,600 points (400/5 * 20).
Although the prizes are paid in tournament dollars, they are well worth winning. The top player in the High buy-in competition will pick up T$25,000, while the winner of the Mid buy-in competition will collect $15,000. The prizes aren´t so great in the Low buy-in competition, but this competition pays the deepest of all three, and even if you finish in 100th position, you will still win T$500.
If you are thinking of playing in the Good Game Series, and you have your eyes set on a top prize in the leaderboard competition, winning free tournament entries via the Good Game Series Giveaway promotion is only going to help your cause. Therefore, we recommend visiting GG Poker today to get ahead of the competition; and, if you have not yet made your first deposit, read our GG Poker review to see how you could kick start your GG Poker experience with a 200% first deposit bonus up to $1,000.
