Hot Promotions Now Underway for 888Poker´s XL Inferno Series

888Poker has released the schedule for May´s XL Inferno and announced a series of hot promotions to support the $1.4 million guaranteed tournament series.

888Poker´s XL Inferno Series 2019 will run from Thursday May 16th to Sunday May 26th and consist of 34 tournaments guaranteed for a total of over $1.4 million. Although the schedule contains little in the way of surprises, the final day of the series looks pretty exciting with three Main Events – including a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event with a buy-in of just $250.

As usual, the series will be supported by a comprehensive satellite structure – including daily free-to-enter satellites to the $50,000 guaranteed XL Inferno Mini Tune Up on Sunday May 19th and the $500,000 Main Event on Sunday May 26th. Details of the eligibility criteria for each free-to-enter satellite follows – along with a warning for first time depositors.

The Daily Free-to-Enter Satellites

If you are an existing real money player at 888Poker (i.e. you have made at least one deposit into your account), you should soon be receiving an email with a link to claim two free tickets to the XL Series promotional satellites. If you don´t receive it this week, get onto 888Poker´s Customer Services. The two satellites take place daily and offer the following prizes:

• The XL Inferno Mini Tune Up Satellite takes place at 4:00pm (all times GMT) and the top fifty players will each win a seat worth $16.50.
• The XL Inferno Main Event Satellite takes place at 8:00pm and the top twelve players will each win a seat worth $250.00.

Once you have used your free tickets, you can win more by completing personal daily challenges – details of which will be in the admin panel of the poker client or sent to you by email. You can also win additional tickets to the free-to-enter satellites by playing the Wheel game when you first open the poker client each day. Sadly the previously-available opportunity to win a second ticket by playing on the mobile app in the evenings has not been extended to this promotion.

A Warning for First Time Depositors

If you have previously created an account with 888Poker in order to take advantage of the free no deposit poker bonus, you will likely soon receive an email inviting you to make a deposit of $10 or more using the 888Poker bonus code “INFERNO10” and in return you will receive three tickets to the free-to-enter XL Inferno satellites mentioned above. Don´t do it.
