Holiday Poker Blowout at Bovada Poker Players at Bovada Poker are in for an extra treat due to the site adding Holiday Doubles tournaments to its Boxing Day and New Year´s Day schedules.

If you live in the U.S., Brazil or Mexico, and you are in the process of planning your holiday online action, be sure to include Bovada Poker in your plans – especially on Boxing Day (December 26th) and New Year´s Day (January 1st). This is because, on these two days, Bovada Poker will be hosting a “Holiday Poker Blowout” with more than $750,000 on the tables.

The huge amount of guaranteed prize money comes as a result of rescheduling the weekly $100,000 guaranteed Sunday Feature event and $50,000 High Rollers event, and adding “Holiday Doubles” tournaments – extra tournaments scheduled throughout each day that mirror existing events in the regular Bovada Poker tournament schedule.

The Rescheduled Sunday Feature and High Rollers Events

Usually on Sundays, Bovada Poker hosts a $100,000 guaranteed Feature event at 4.00 p.m. (all times ET) and a $50,000 High Rollers event at 6.00 p.m. Because this coming Sunday is Christmas Eve and the following Sunday is New Year´s Eve, the site has rescheduled both tournaments to be played on Boxing Day (Tuesday 26th December) and New Year´s Day (Monday 1st January).

In respect of the $100,000 guaranteed Feature event, the daily satellite program – including the $1.00 buy-in “Cheap Seats” satellites – has remained unchanged. However, the “Semi-Final” and “Last Chance” satellites will now be played on Boxing Day and New Year´s Day. Players looking for qualifiers into the High Rollers event should check the satellite section of the Bovada Poker client.

Holidays Doubles Tournaments Double the Fun (and the Money)

In addition to the rescheduled Feature and High Rollers events, Bovada Poker is adding eight extra “Holidays Doubles” tournaments to the Boxing Day and New Year´s Day tournament schedules. The extra tournaments start at 18 minutes past the hour between 1.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m., and mirror events starting on the hour (the rescheduled 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. events excluded). For example:

  • At 1.00 p.m. and at 1.18 p.m. there will be two $11.00 buy-in tournaments with $2,000 guarantees.
  • At 2.00 p.m. and at 2.18 p.m. two $33.00 buy-in tournaments are scheduled, with each having a $3,000 guarantee.
  • At 3.00 p.m. and at 3.18 p.m. two $22.00 buy-in super-stack tournaments will get underway, both having a $2,500 guarantee.

The sequence takes a break at 4.00 p.m. for the $162 buy-in Feature event, before resuming with two $5,000 guaranteed events at 5.00 p.m. and 5.18pm. There is another break in the sequence at 6.00 p.m. for the $270.00 buy-in High Rollers event, and it then resumes between 7.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. Please note the revised schedules only apply on Boxing Day and New Year´s Day.

Despite the recent introduction of its [geolink href=”https://www.pokernewsreport.com/bovada-poker-adds-jackpot-hyper-turbo-sit-go-games-21973″]Jackpot hyper-turbo Sit & Go games[/geolink], the volume of cash game traffic at Bovada Poker appears to be holding up well.
