Full Tilt Poker is launching a 10-day cash game promotion from tomorrow in which players can battle it out to take down 2 simultaneous leaderboard competitions.
Take it Down
is a new promotion being offered by Full Tilt Poker in which players are awarded points for competing on the site´s cash game tables, which then add up on two separate leaderboards and convert into daily cash prizes.
The rules of the promotion are fairly straightforward, and there is $18,000 available for players who cash in the promotion, plus an extra $5,000 being offered in a Flipout Freeroll for all players who meet the qualifying criteria.
Full Tilt Poker´s Take it Down
promotion divides the site´s cash tables into two stake ranges and offers a leaderboard competition in each – $0.01/$0.02 to $0.10/$0.25 and $0.25/$0.50 upwards. Players are awarded points for winning pots in cash games that see flop, provided that at least three players are dealt into a hand.
One point is awarded for each player dealt into a hand, so a player winning a pot in a nine-handed full ring game would win nine points in that hand. Players have to compete in a minimum of 150 qualifying hands in order for their score to count towards the leaderboard competitions, and only the best score each day will count (if players play multiple sessions throughout the day).
Points will be awarded at all tables offering No Limit Hold´em and Pot Limit Omaha, as well as at Rush Poker and Adrenalin Rush tables, and there is no limit to the number of prizes a player can win – indeed, cash game players are invited to compete in both leaderboard competitions in order to score more prizes.
The top twenty points earners (within one session) will received the following prizes each day:
Position | Low | High | Position | Low | High |
1 | $100 | $200 | 11 | $15 | $30 |
2 | $85 | $170 | 12 | $15 | $30 |
3 | $70 | $140 | 13 | $15 | $30 |
4 | $60 | $120 | 14 | $10 | $20 |
5 | $50 | $100 | 15 | $10 | $20 |
6 | $40 | $80 | 16 | $10 | $20 |
7 | $30 | $60 | 17 | $10 | $20 |
8 | $25 | $50 | 18 | $5 | $10 |
9 | $20 | $40 | 19 | $5 | $10 |
10 | $20 | $40 | 20 | $5 | $10 |
In addition to the daily prizes, Full Tilt Poker will award any player who twice posts scores within the ten-day promotion a ticket into a Flipout Freeroll which takes place on Sunday, May 25th at 12:15 (ET). The Flipout Freeroll is a multi-entry event which players can enter up to five times, so there is an incentive to post scores on the Take it Down leaderboards every day, even if they are relatively low.
The promotion starts at midnight tonight, and continues through to 23:59pm on Sunday 18th May. Full details of the promotion can be found on Full Tilt Poker´s website.
