London will again host hundreds of poker players for the six-day event at the Fox Poker Club that starts on Wednesday, August 24.
Fox Poker Club’s London Calling Event Details Announced
Northern Ireland’s Matthew Scott lifted the top prize of £9,000 (about €10,200 or $14,350) after winning the £300+£25 (€340+€28/$560+$40) July Fox Poker Club main event in London on Sunday evening by outlasting a 115-strong, but already details have emerged of next month’s three-event London Calling tournament.
The British capital city will again host hundreds of players for the six-day event at the Fox Poker Club that starts on Wednesday, August 24, and runs until the main event finishes on Monday, August 29.
The two-day £500+£40 (€566+€45/$792+$63) Main Event kicks off on Sunday, August 28, with starting chip stacks of 20,000 and a 45-minute blinds clock, following on from the £60+£5 (€68+€5.70/$95+$8) No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout Satellite Qualifier (three seats guaranteed) opener on the Wednesday, as well as the first of three £30+£5 (€34+€5.70/$48+$8) One Rebuy Satellite Qualifiers.
Two Sunday live satellites will also be played throughout August on the 14th and 21st, while there will also be qualifiers on Wednesday the 24th and Saturday the 27th.
A £150+£10 (€170+€11.30/$238+$16) No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout Side Event will end the London Calling tournament on Monday, August 29.
