Bovada Hosting Black Diamond Poker Open

Bovada kicked off its 86-event $850,000 guaranteed Black Diamond Poker Open tournament series yesterday that is available to players worldwide.

Bodog’s U.S.-facing site Bovada Poker began its Contender Series on Sunday, Feb. 10 with a $20 + $2 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Kickoff Event featuring a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Contender Series consists of 43 events and runs for 15 days through Feb. 24. Buy-ins range from $3 + $0.30 to $50 + $5, but the majority of the tourneys can be entered in the middle of that range with fees such as $10 + $1 and $20 + $2. Satellites are running now that allow players to win entries at a fraction of the buy-in.

But again, most buy-ins of the Championship Series will fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum, with a multitude of satellite tourneys available.
