The fourth annual Punta Cana Poker Classic takes places at the stunning Hard Rock Café & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from Monday 11th November and features a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event with a buy-in of $1,500 + $150 and a High Roller Event with a buy-in of $4,600 + $400.

There are two Day 1s included in the schedule for the Punta Cana Poker Classic Main Event on Tuesday and Wednesday – not to be confused with two Day 1s for the “Second Chance” tournament which starts on Thursday and Friday. Cash games will also be provided in the Hard Rock Casino.

Americas Cardroom – the primary sponsor of the Punta Cana Poker Classic – is offering superb packages for the festival which include a seat in the Main Event, flights into the Dominican Republic (up to $800.00), a week´s accommodation at the all-inclusive Punta Cana Hard Rock Café & Casino, and $1,500 resort credit to treat yourself when you are away from the tables.
Super Satellites guaranteeing 10 packages to the Punta Cana Poker Classic are hosted monthly on the site – with a buy-in of just $50.00 + $5.00 – and qualifiers into the Super Satellite start from just $0.50 + $0.05 and run every hour at Americas Cardroom. Alternatively you can win a free seat into the monthly Super Satellite by finishing within the top 100 places in the site´s monthly progressive rake race – “The Beast”.
The next Super Satellite to the Americas Cardroom-sponsored Punta Cana Poker Classic is scheduled for Sunday August 11th – the same night as Americas Cardroom will be doubling its weekly feature tournament guarantee to $100,000.
The $100,000 guaranteed tournament is likely to offer plenty of value to discerning players, as the site rarely manages to attract more than 300 players to its $200.00 + $15.00 event (when it has a $50.000 guarantee). A big overlay is anticipated.
The $100,000 guaranteed tournament starts at 7.00pm EDT (11.00pm GMT) and late registration/re-entry is allowed for four hours; while the Super Satellite to the Punta Cana Poker Classic starts one hour earlier and has late registration/re-entry available until the first break.
