WSOP 2011 $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Shoutout Reaches Final 16

WSOP 2011Texan Robert Smith completed the second day’s play in the $1,500 no-limit hold’em shootout when he had Carter Swidler all-in pre-flop with As-9h against Ad-3h.

The board showed 4d-Ac-10s-5d-9d to give Smith aces and nines to complete the 16-strong line-up for tonight’s final day in the No.13 tournament.

It should make for exciting viewing as Vietnamese-American and two-time WSOP bracelet winner David Pham – with success in the 2006 $2,000 version of this event – is still in, as are former bracelet winners Vitaly Lunkin, Frank Kassela, Erik Cajelais and Dan Kelly.
