PokerStars acquired the Full Tilt assets at the beginning of August through negotiations with the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) and has fixed a relaunch date of no later than Nov. 6, which is roughly 90 days following the first of four scheduled payments to be made by PokerStars to the DoJ. The final three payments are due in yearly intervals and the purchase will conclude in 2015.

Non-U.S. players will receive their frozen funds upon the site’s relaunching, while players from the U.S. will have to submit claims for their account balances through the asset and forfeiture division of the DoJ. Complete details have yet to be announced.

Players at online poker forums have been actively engaged in discussions as to whether Full Tilt may open ahead of the scheduled date. However, Full Tilt Poker Room Manager Shyam Markus has informed players via TwoPlusTwo that there’s a ton of work left to do prior to the relaunch date and the 90-day time frame previously invoked is still in effect.

Full Tilt’s main offices are located in Ireland and PokerStars has indicated that they see no need to move company headquarters. Persons who may be looking for an exciting career in the online poker industry can apply via the Rational FT Services website and should be prepared to relocate to Dublin.
