Gabe Patgorski holds chip lead for WSOPC Hammond Final Table
The World Series of Poker Circuit $10,000 Regional Championship event in Hammond comes to a conclusion today with the final table available to watch on television on the Versus Network. Several big names will feature at the final table as Bernard Lee, Brandon Adams and David Sands all remain in the event after a very tough Day 3 which saw other top poker players eliminated.
Gabe “gp333″ Patgorski began Day 3 with a slight chip lead over Curt Kohlberg and managed to ammass a massive lead by the end of the day, entering todays final table as chip leader with almost 1million more chips than his nearest rival – David ‘Doc’ Sands. Sands is is one of the best online poker tournament players and is part of the Brunson 10. He now travels the live tournament circuit representing DoylesRoom (which is one of the best online poker sites for US players), and being second in chips it would be no suprise if he manages to win the event.
Also in contention is Full Tilt Poker pro Brandon Adams who just managed to make the final table, after fellow Full Tilt pro Steve Zolotow was eliminted on the bubble. Adams will be the short stack when the final table commences holding just 155,000 chips and will be desperate for a few double-ups if he is going to get in contention and challenge chip leader Gabe Patgorski who will begin the final day with almost 2.3million chips.
